 SNYDER'S SLY CALL Today Governor Rick Snyder declined an invitation to testify before Congress. The House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee requested he appear on Wednesday, February 10th. This is the second of two different Congressional Hearings.   A spokesperson for the Governor announced he must decline due to a conflict in his schedule for this coming Wednesday.  He is scheduled to introduce a draft of a new budget to the Legislature. This is not a legitimate excuse as probably every Democrat in Legislature can attest. The Governor's proposed budget will be subject to scrutiny and revision several times. He should be called for "delay of game."         This is totally unacceptable to the residents of Flint and all of Michigan.   WHAT THE MEDIA FAILED TO MENTION IN THE DEMOCRATIC DEBATE AS USUAL  HILLARY IS TO THE RIGHT OF THE SENATOR FROM VERMONT     LAST NIGHT THE DEMOCRATS DISPLAYED A DEBATE BASED ON SUBSTANCE. Almost all print and TV media followed up with a conclusion of the blow by blow between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. The media agreed both came across as Presidential compared to the AMC Gremlin load of Republicans at a three ring circus. If you stayed tuned to listen to the MSNBC commentators “summarize” the content or Detroit Free Press this morning, they missed some of what prove to be the most controversial and crucial points. CONGRESS HAS AN ADDICTION TO KOCH   FLINT WATER HEARINGS: NO OVERSIGHT, NO CRIME, NO FOUL On Monday it was confirmed that Gov. Rick Snyder will not be called to testify before the Congressional Government Oversight and Government Reform Committee as once believed. The hearings are scheduled to begin Wednesday, February 3 , 2016.  House Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R) UT, will act as Chairman.  In addition, the witness list released contained only five names, Governor Snyder excluded. There will be testimony from MI DEQ and Federal EPA Region 5 for which that Director resigned and Flint’s EM, Darnell Earley.   IOWA CAUCUS TODAY -- TOMORROW WILL ANYONE CARE?          Traditional political thinking is that the Iowa Caucus being held today and New Hampshire primary (February 9) are an early forecast as to determine the respective Presidential Democrat and Republican Party candidates. Some strategists cling to the theory that winners here have a decided edge on their opponents toward the nomination. Some go as far to say the winner betters their odds on becoming the next Commander-In-Chief.   Since the 1980 Presidential campaign that theory has slowly dissolved. Ronald Regan for practical purposes skipped campaigning in Iowa and lost to George H. Bush. However, we know the result of the national convention in Detroit found Regan beaming and George H.W.
