WHAT IS THE MEANING OF [T] RUTH IN RBG? It is Sunday morning and I am aware that Ruth is a biblical name I became curious as to the meaning and began a search. What I found was quite striking and describes the essence of RBG . What I discovered first is the name I found for Ruth From a Hebrew name that was derived from the Hebrew word   רְעוּת  (re'ut)  meaning ' friend' and the name of the central character in the Old Testament Book of Ruth .
