What followed was a movement among citizens to more closely scrutinize the world around them. The Kennedy assassination shocked a nation, his successor Lyndon B. Johnson continued the legacy with passage of Civil Rights, Voting Rights, Medicare and many programs as part of The Great Society. THE PROPHECY OF BOB DYLAN - "A HARD RAIN'S A-GONNA FALL"     Many believed one true genius before his time, composed music and lyrics true in 1962 and it holds the same truth today. Bob Dylan became the voice of a new generation, for the disenfranchised and those denied justice. The times subjugated a population to a system being born coming to fruition.    "The Free Wheel'n Bob Dylan"  became an American classic during its own tenure. However, Dylan became the lyrical prophet for a nation ridden with lies to the people. The promise of liberty and justice began to unravel. Our democratic way of life dissolved into the oligarchy in place today who took no prisoners. President Obama: 1400 Now 3,000 Troops, Add $5.6B to $56.8B President Obama met with Congressional Leaders from both parties yesterday. The President as with his predecessor is seeking to once again utilize Executive Order in a ceaseless war. This time as the Pentagon repeatedly states, "we will get it right." That my friends has been the mantra since the Vietnam War. The generals repeatedly request additional troops and equipment in order to defeat the enemy. IT HAS NOT HAPPENED. Not in Vietnam, Gulf War, Afghanistan and now two incursions into Iraq.
