WHY ARE DEMS ASKING WHO CAN STOP SANDERS? BERNIE BEATS TRUMP!
Bernie Sanders Stands for True Reform |
“You can fool
all the people some of the time,
and some of the people all the time,
but you
cannot fool all the people all the time." – Abraham Lincoln
If there ever was a President for which these words hold true it is, Donald Trump. I cannot wait for Bernie to campaign and debate Trump the Terrible.
In politics, there one strategy that stands the test of time which
Trump mastered this in 2016.
“The truth doesn’t matter. It is what people perceive
to be the truth.”
Remember in 2017 from his inauguration up to this very moment
Trump has created an alternative universe that has become the “new normal.” If
the top echelon of the DNC doubt Sanders
“electability” then Democrats can operate on the basis of fact. The
“truth will be the norm.”
Let’s be clear, among the Democratic candidates they will
make a strong opponent to Trump. But, their vulnerabilities will cause them to fall
short. Only Bernie has a broad coalition of support and a progressive platform
that takes FDR’s New Deal to a Square Deal as he intended. And to be pragmatic
both Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg are the weakest. Biden has been timid in
both his campaign and debates. Face it, he has lost a few steps. Bloomberg is
not the one. He only represents more of the same and is part of the top one
percent (1%). Bloomberg is one of the billionaires, someone who if you have not
noticed is unpopular among American voters. People cannot trust him when it
comes to taxes and wealth inequality. He will not be able to shake this negative
label or branding no matter what progressive priorities he promises.
Bernie is best suited to confront Trump, his lies and his
failure in promises to the middle class. Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Amy
Klobuchar and Tom Steyer could beat Trump. But there are too many variables
working against them.
If anyone other than Bernie Sanders emerges as Democratic
Candidates on July 16 they will go forward with serious
deficiencies. Time is of the essence and there are only 109 days to the
November election. Bernie Sanders appears he will have the largest number of
pledged delegates going into Milwaukee. If Democratic Party convention
procedure denies Sanders and chooses any of the other candidates there will be
division and hell to pay come November.
Only Sanders has a growing political movement of support, a
historic base of individual contributors and the sheer number the devoted on
the ground.
Unlike the Republicans in 2016, Democrats have the strongest
field of candidates in American history. Together with those who may have
suspended their campaigns and those remain standing on the debate stage, they
are a formidable team of Superheroes. The collective brain power they possess
will Marvel voters and Trump will be
unmasked as the Joker he is.
The individual talents are God-given to a group of
Democratic leaders. Let us invite certain members to not only campaign as
surrogates but provide unique super powers giving powerful talking points based
on their expertise in debates.
Tom Steyer promises to reveal that in business Trump is
fraud and failure. Kamala Harris could share her techniques in cross examination.
Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff can provide all the facts as to Trump’s multiple
violations of the Constitution in Congressional Oversight.
For that matter let us go further by utilizing black, brown
and yellow surrogates to shore up votes among these minorities before Trump
uses false promises or alienates them to stay home on election day. Invite Al
Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Val Deming, Andrew Yang, Julian Castro and whichever
rap musicians or Hollywood celebrity to join Bernie on the rally stage across
America.
Let these patriots become the answer to Trump’s enlisted
foreign interference.
Democrats will ask the American people “In God We Trust” or
is it “Donald Trump?”
Today, after Bernie Sanders won Nevada there is a new media campaign
painting him to have supported Fidel Castro. Forty to fifty years ago Bernie did
speak of the advances Castro introduced that improved the lives of all Cubans. Literacy
and health care surpassed levels in the United States.
When Castro transitioned to an authoritarian, Bernie condemned
the State in Cuba. He is entitled to change his philosophy when advancing the rights
of all people. The alarming fact is that each day Trump remains as President he
is moving America to the same authoritarianism and tyranny. Unlike Donald Trump,
Bernie Sanders as a Democratic Socialist will protect individual freedom and that
of the Press.
