Earlier I entered an extensive political account and opinion on the final days of the Senate Judiciary Committee's inquest or inquiry as to the background of Judge Sotomayor . I have since attempted to move that Post to the archives and in a few moments of this post I will learn of its' fate. ONE FINAL COMMENT ON THE SENATE HEARINGS AND THE VOTE IN THE SENATE The Judiciary found only one Republican who voted with all of the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee thus recommending her to the full Senate for a final vote as "accepted" from nominee to that of Supreme Court Justice. SENATE FINAL VOTE IN FAVOR OF APPROVAL I believe the final vote of 61 - 39 with the the "nays" all Republicans. What this hold for the future is not known. One thing is clear.
