AFTER 9 DAYS OF PROTEST 

I DO NOT SEE CHANGE AS REALITY

We have all seen the videos of George Floyd's horrorific death at the hands of the police.

We have seen the police attempt to walk back and a prosecutor who attempted to whitewash the racist brutality and only under extreme pressure arrested and charged one of four murderers.

We have seen the Black Lives Matter protests begin in Minneapolis and anger explode in cities across the nation in spontanaity of the same.

We have witnessed the violence, tyranny and looting instigated by outsiders more likely to be White Nationalists militias rather than the online based ANTIFA.

We have heard the dialogue between black leaders, followed by the decades old white political rhetoric.

And We have all seen the photo below encapusaliting a president who will go to any length, sink to any low to pursue personal gain, cling to ruthless power and incite violence. 

There Are No Words Left To Describe

Like so many I have complied with a "Stay A Home" order as a senior with underlying conditions. Each of these past nine days I have watched the impromptu televised news coverage bounce from one city's march to another. In a way it was like watching "election returns" reported.

For me, each day became a repeat of the last with a message that with time be diminished, but hopefully not dismissed.

It is precisely five months before the November 3rd Presidential Election that unbelievably we have no certainty it will go forward secure in all votes secured if we have an election at all. 

Five months is like five years for this president. Imagine the havoc, chaos, suppression, division and violence he is proven to be so capable. 

During these five months any legislation by Congress to address "reality" will certainly dissipate in a D.C. minute. Mitch McConnell will see to that.

I have seen this before just as I am witnessing it again. Justice has been repeatedly slowed to a snail's pace. Our only chance for change, to continue the Rule of Law upon which Our Constitution is written, "a Republic if we can keep it" is for a massive number of citizens to vote in November.

My greatest fear is for this nation to go into a deep spiral if our elections are free from Republican suppression through all of their devious means of the past. This includes the tampering of  Absentee Ballots they perpetrated in North Carolina in 2018. 

We as the people who have the ultimate say as to how our country is governed must be more vigilant than ever before in November. Do not forget that he has already invoked to our foreign adversaries to intervene in the sancity of our individual vote.

Is it really so long in our past that we forget Adam Schiff's warning?

"You know he has done it before... and he will do it again!"

God help us all.
