SUNDAY MORNING 10:10

SUNDAY MORNING 10:10 I make my way to the balcony, one eye shun, The other shut, squints to find solace and Sun. Cautiously I move reaching out, grabbing only mere air, I need not fear in my search for the Son. I wish to remove a chill within, to warm the soul I lease. Clumsy now I stumble down to find a seat, my chair, One I can claim for the now be outdoors --breathe fresh air. I sit not in thought, but listen at this moment so rare One that wraps around me, where any noise is bare. It is so quiet now; I feel the sunlight as it strains through the trees My mind attempts to focus this singular moment of healing rays. I realize too, it has limits in my time all of the days. What is next, 11:11? This I doubt. During this recovery I am to lift no more than ten pounds. So, I thought to remove the unbearable weight on my shoulders. Patriotic Hydrangea?

The Sochi Olympics, Unrest in Kiev and Putin's Invasion

PUTIN’S MOVE TO INVADE THE UKRAINE IS NOT A SPONTANEOUS CALL TO SHIELD FELLOW RUSSIANS.   HOWEVER, IT IS PRESIDENT PUTIN REVEALING his inner self. I believe, as many writers and bloggers may concur.    Putin the man kept hidden his true persona within. He was now invoking a sinister plan mixing PR, diplomacy, corruption and possibly clandestine effort to initiate violence in Kiev. The Russian President has never accepted the demise of the Soviet Union and subsequent chilling of a Cold War. As former chief of the KGB he has not warmed to any trust of the West. Vladimir Putin retains an inherent belief of "his personal mandate" to reestablish as much of the U.S.S.R. as feasible. He wishes his legacy  to be seen as the one who reconstructed and engineered a well-thought plan for Russia as it enjoyed in the past. Putin's goal is simple, capture more power and influence within the global community. Violent Protests in final days of the Olympics brought Putin...

PAT ROBERTSON SHOULD NOT BE THE ONLY  UGLY DUCKLING TO TAKE COVER! You must admit, he ruffled some feathers! By this time you know the A&E Cable Television Network has now reversed course and re-instate Pat Robertson to his show. Network executives at some time made the dubious decision to create a an episodic reality show entitled "Duck Dynasty." I question the competency and integrity of the network's executives and producers. With the advent of cable television, the A&E network mission is to introduce and steer the general viewing audience to the Arts & Entertainment productions that ABC, CBS and NBC would never touch with a ten-foot antenna. From concept to the introduction to the American Public the network aired "live" concerts, ballet and entertainment within the definition of "Art" the general public had little or no exposure. A&E from its inception produced some quality programming that helped fill a void tha...
