FORGET 50 TOP SECURITY EXPERTS - BEST SCHOOLS OF PSYCHIATRY DIAGNOSIS OF DONALD TRUMP

"President Obama is the founder of Isis and Hillary Clinton a co-founder" - Rationale: SARCASM

AUGUST 12, 2016

The top Schools of Psychiatry are now assessing the moods, behavior, thought process and outrageous public statements of Donald Trump. Faculty members from the Mayo Clinic, Boston University, Duke and the University of Michigan all conclude that Trump displays the "symptoms" of an assortment of mental illnesses as defined in the DSMIV.

Of course, the top psychiatrists and psychotherapists did not have direct access to the subject for face-to-face assessments and testing due to  isolation and denial. Those close to the candidate may have witnessed some signs of instability but rather protect him than draw his ire.

Within the psychiatric realm of study, doctors assess patients for signs of  major categories of mental illness. The symptoms of each mental illness are detailed and updated in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). The top professionals within the psychiatric community site a variety of symptoms that may define his specific mental illness.

The following major forms of mental illness listed below appear on the Mayo Clinic* website. Review these disorders and judge for yourself.

The main classes of mental illness are:

  •  Schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders. Psychotic disorders cause detachment from reality — such as delusions, hallucinations, and disorganized thinking and speech. The most notable example is schizophrenia, although other classes of disorders can be associated with detachment from reality at times.

  • Bipolar and related disorders. This class includes disorders with alternating episodes of mania — periods of excessive activity, energy and excitement — and depression.

  • Obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. These disorders involve preoccupations or obsessions and repetitive thoughts and actions.

  • Dissociative disorders. These are disorders in which your sense of self is disrupted, such as with dissociative identity disorder and dissociative amnesia.

  • Sleep-wake disorders. These are disorders of sleep severe enough to require clinical attention, such as insomnia, sleep apnea and restless legs syndrome

  • Disruptive, impulse-control and conduct disorders. These disorders include problems with emotional and behavioral self-control, such as kleptomania or intermittent explosive disorder.

  • Neurocognitive disorders. Neurocognitive disorders affect your ability to think and reason.

  • Personality disorders. A personality disorder involves a lasting pattern of emotional instability and unhealthy behavior that causes problems in your life and relationships. Examples include borderline, antisocial and narcissistic personality disorders.

  • Other mental disorders. This class includes mental disorders that are due to other medical conditions or that don't meet the full criteria for one of the above disorders. (sleep deprivation)

Many media and political pundits are now raising a question "Is Trump mentally ill and unfit to serve? "Make your own assessment based on any number of statements and behavior you may observed when Trump dominates center stage. My conclusion is the same as what I recommended for the 2008 Presidential election.

The Republican Party marched on stage 19 - 21 potential candidates for a series of debates where some displayed personality issues.

The first debate should be moderated by the top psychiatrists in order to weed out those who should seek professional help. Had the Republican Party conducted individual or group evaluations of their candidates the American public would have been spared the carnival environment and how they are about to flush all these hanging chads down the toilet.

UPDATE: NOVEMBER ELECTION WILL BE A REFERENDUM ON MENTAL HEALTH

Who can possibly identify with a Republican Party Candidate, let alone defend him?

Republicans could have avoided the embarrassment and the meltdown of their Party.
