Our nation struggles and grieves the unacceptable number of COVID19 infections and deaths which places the United States as number one in the world. Donald Trump will continue to minimize his bungling and failure in leadership and tout an alternative truth.

Millions are jobless, small business face closure and unemployment is at 20 percent and growing. However, do not be surprised when Trump turns his failure into success.

As the Labor Department issues monthly job gains and the Trump administration will claim credit. Can you imagine the President pointing to growth in certain sectors of job creation?

Imagine the Trump administration tweeting and blurt out how he is Making America Great Again. Trump will ignore the unemployment rate but point to the jobs created by the COVID19 pandemic over the 3rd quarter.

Donald Trump will make the claim that no other President since the Civil War has achieved this level of greatness. And he will be relentless in condemning Barack Obama as a "loser" in essential worker job creation.

* The number of epidemiologists will decrease as he fires all those who disagree with him.

Mariupol (NBC News) The seaport and industrial city of Mariupol has been bombarded by the Russians since the first days of the war. The news we hear is that the ruins of the city may fall any day. The fate of the 1000 citizens and the Ukrainian military are taking a last stand in an industrial steel complex and cry out for salvation. The Russians will not allow a humanitarian corridor to evacuate the women, children and injured from the underground tunnels and basements.  Russian refusal adds to the growing war crimes of Putin and his barbaric forces. President Putin has scoffed at sanctions even though they will eventually cripple the economy and the poor Russian people will suffer. But, these sanctions have been too slow to have a consequential effect. The United States has pledged billions to support Ukraine in this heinous war with reports of atrocities growing by day. There is not yet confirmation of the thousands of civilian casualties.   Putin is not fazed by any human element
